Multicam podcasts

A multicam podcast edit, without doing the edit

Drop in every camera and every microphone. No Prod AI lines them up, cleans the sound, writes down who said what, cuts the dead air and switches the picture to whoever is talking — and opens the result on a timeline you can change.

How it goes

  1. 1

Everything on a timeline at once

The moment a project starts, every file is on the timeline, so you see the episode take shape rather than wait for it.

  2. 2

    Sound cleaned on every mic

Noise, echo and uneven voices are cleaned per microphone before anything is cut.

  3. 3

    Who said what

Each recording is transcribed on your computer and every line tagged with its speaker, so the cut knows whose camera to show.

  4. 4

The cut and its camera switches

Silences, slips and off-topic stretches come out, and the picture follows the conversation. You watch it in the editor before the job goes on.

  5. 5

    One look across every angle

The cameras are matched to one look, tuned last on the finished edit so it can be adjusted at the end.

You decide how much you check

Casual stops only before anything is posted; Guided at the checks that shape the episode; Professional at every one. Guided comes with Pro, Professional with Ultra.

Every cut can be put back

The edit is an ordinary timeline: move a cut, switch a camera, change a caption — or ask the assistant in words.

Long episodes cost nothing extra

The work runs on your machine, so a three-hour recording is not metered by the minute.

Questions

How many cameras and microphones can it handle?

No Prod AI takes a folder’s worth of files as one input — every camera and every microphone of the session — and puts them all on one timeline. What limits it is your computer, which a short benchmark on the first launch measures.

Does it name the speakers?

It tells speakers apart by their voices and numbers them — Speaker 1, Speaker 2 — in the order they first talk. Recognising the same person by name across a series is not built yet.

Can I still edit it myself?

Yes. The result opens in the app’s own editor, and the edit can be handed to Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve as a timeline they import.

Record. It does the rest.
